Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the services provided by Dent Source LLC ("Dent Source," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Service Description
Dent Source provides auto body repair services, including but not limited to paintless dent repair, collision repair, maintenance and repair, headlight restoration, and truck accessories installation. Our services are subject to availability and may vary by location.
3. Estimates and Approvals
All repair work requires customer approval before commencement. We provide detailed estimates that outline the scope of work, parts required, labor costs, and estimated completion time. Additional repairs discovered during the repair process will be communicated to the customer for approval before proceeding.
4. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information about their vehicle and the repairs needed
- Removing personal belongings from the vehicle before service
- Promptly responding to requests for additional information or approvals
- Picking up their vehicle within 48 hours of being notified that repairs are complete
- Inspecting the vehicle upon pickup and notifying us immediately of any concerns
5. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of repairs, unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, and approved insurance payments. For insurance claims, customers are responsible for paying their deductible directly to us.
6. Vehicle Storage
Vehicles left at our facilities for more than 7 days after repair completion may incur storage fees of $25 per day. Vehicles abandoned for more than 30 days may be subject to lien sale procedures in accordance with state law.
7. Limitation of Liability
Dent Source is not responsible for:
- Pre-existing damage not related to the current repair
- Personal items left in the vehicle
- Delays caused by parts availability or insurance approval processes
- Consequential damages resulting from vehicle repairs
8. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
Privacy Policy

- Vehicle Information: Make, model, year, VIN, license plate number
- Insurance Information: Insurance carrier, policy number, claim number

Warranty Information

2. Warranty Terms
Our warranties are subject to the following terms:
- Warranties apply to the original customer and are not transferable
- Warranty coverage begins on the date of repair completion
- Warranty claims must be reported promptly upon discovery
- The vehicle must be made available for inspection at a Dent Source location
- Repairs must be performed by Dent Source technicians
3. Warranty Exclusions
Our warranties do not cover:
- Damage caused by accidents, abuse, or neglect
- Normal wear and tear
- Environmental damage (acid rain, bird droppings, tree sap, etc.)
- Damage from improper care or maintenance
- Repairs performed by other service providers
- Pre-existing conditions not related to our repairs
4. Parts Warranties
Parts used in repairs may be covered by manufacturer warranties in addition to our service warranty. OEM parts typically carry the manufacturer's warranty, while aftermarket parts may have different warranty terms. We will provide information about parts warranties at the time of repair.
5. Making a Warranty Claim
To make a warranty claim:
- Contact the Dent Source location where the original repair was performed
- Provide your repair order number and details about the issue
- Schedule an appointment for inspection
- If the issue is covered under warranty, repairs will be performed at no cost
Payment Policy
1. Accepted Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:
- Cash
- Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover)
- Debit Cards
- Insurance Direct Pay
- Approved Financing (through our financing partners)
2. Payment Timing
Payment is due in full upon completion of repairs and before the vehicle is released, unless other arrangements have been made in advance. For insurance claims, customers are responsible for paying their deductible directly to us at the time of vehicle pickup.
3. Deposits
For certain repairs, particularly those involving special order parts or extensive labor, we may require a deposit before beginning work. Deposit amounts typically range from 20% to 50% of the total estimated repair cost, depending on the nature of the repair.
4. Insurance Claims
For insurance-covered repairs:
- We work directly with most major insurance companies
- Customers are responsible for their deductible amount
- In some cases, we can bill the insurance company directly for the covered portion
- Any repairs not covered by insurance are the customer's responsibility
5. Financing Options
We offer financing options through our financing partners for customers who prefer to pay for repairs over time. Financing is subject to credit approval and terms vary based on credit history and repair amount. Please ask our service advisors about current financing options.
6. Declined Payments
Returned checks or declined credit card payments will incur a $25 service fee. Vehicles will not be released until payment has been successfully processed.
Cancellation Policy
1. Appointment Cancellations
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to offer the time slot to other customers.
2. No-Show Policy
If you fail to show up for a scheduled appointment without prior notice, we may implement a $50 no-show fee for future appointments. Repeated no-shows may result in the requirement of a deposit for scheduling future appointments.
3. Repair Cancellations
If you need to cancel a repair after it has been authorized but before work has begun:
- No cancellation fee will be charged if cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled repair time
- Any deposits for special order parts may be non-refundable if the parts cannot be returned
- A $50 administrative fee may apply for cancellations with less than 24 hours notice
4. Cancellations During Repair
If you cancel a repair after work has begun:
- You will be responsible for paying for all work completed up to the point of cancellation
- You will be responsible for any parts that have been ordered or installed
- The vehicle will be returned to you in its current state of repair
5. Refunds
Refund policies for cancelled repairs:
- Deposits for repairs that are cancelled before work begins may be refunded, minus any non-returnable parts costs
- Refunds will be issued in the same form as the original payment
- Credit card refunds may take 5-7 business days to process
6. Weather-Related Cancellations
In the event of severe weather or other circumstances beyond our control, we may need to reschedule appointments. We will make every effort to notify you as soon as possible and reschedule at your convenience.
